Aston Carter Production Planner in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Description:

• Live company values every day. • Actively work to fulfill company goals. • Studies production schedules to ascertain material requirements. • On a daily basis reviews open job orders in Epicor and firms as required. • Prints and distributes pick lists and job travelers. • Assists Production Supervisor in scheduling and prioritizing work. • Reviews stock levels and advises Materials as appropriate to preclude shortages. • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc. • Creating/maintaining inventory warehouse and bin stock locations. • Working with Engineering and Epicor, participate in the ECN process as needed. • Utilize Epicor accurately to ensure data and transactional integrity. • Performs all job duties following 5S/LEAN Manufacturing requirements and according to all safety and health policies. • Ensure accuracy of Bills of Material and coordinate resolution with appropriate departments. • Analyze production specifications and capacity data to calculate resource requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as BOM’s, job orders, etc. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and other employees within the organization. • Experience in parts inventory management and ERP software – specifically EPICOR. • Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
