Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Waunakee, Wisconsin

Description:

We are one of the world's leading manufacturers of drive technology for mechanical and electronic solutions. Our wide range of products includes constant speed reducers, gear motors, industrial gear units, AC vector drives, and motor starters for decentralized control.

-Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day facility upkeep, including manufacturing equipment repair and preventative maintenance to ensure our facility and equipment is maintained

-Develop maintenance SOP’s and maintain proper records

-Install, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic, HVAC and electrical/electronic equipment (240v - 480v)

-Record repairs and maintenance performed

-Preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions

-Complete maintenance work by requested due dates

-Pursue measures to reduce downtime on plant equipment, identify opportunities and take measures to reduce waste

-Suggest cost-saving upgrades to equipment and changes to improve performance of equipment

-Source and order parts and supplies when needed

-Support continuous improvement activities and Kaizen events facility wide

-Oversee outside contractors when needed
