This is a hybrid role based out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio. As such, we will focus on candidates currently residing in NE Ohio. The Product Realization Analyst is responsible for supporting creative and product development teams in the actualization of designated premium product. This position supports the manager in the use of robust communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with design teams and global supply chain (Asia Global Sourcing), from concepting to mass production. The key to success in this role is the ability to advocate for innovative content within the boundaries of consumer-validated perceived value, manufacturability and cost of goods. For this position, a strong drive to push for results and the ability to pivot based on new information are critical. Creative thinking, problem-solving and diplomacy skills are equally essential. The Product Realization Analyst will balance multiple highly detailed creative concepts and projects at any given time, which will require a high degree of organizational and time management skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Guides the development and realization of designated premium product from concepting to final production - Together with the R&D and Creative Services Manager, acts as the conduit between creative and Asia Global Sourcing partners. Advocates for product development and design objectives through frequent dialogue that is integral to an iterative product development process - Objectively balances creative intent and quality standards with business realities and consumer perception - Submits pre-sourcing requests for purchased components (attachments) and other greeting card materials to Asia Global Sourcing and challenges business partners to secure highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost - Helps facilitate product cost quoting process with Asia supply chain - Supports the manager in analyzing and managing cost of goods estimates at the design-level - Effectively communicates and collaborates with creative teams and product development to advance best-in-class designated premium product by giving recommendations to meet or exceed price-value deliverables - Identifies, interprets and recommends solutions to design engineering and cost of goods challenges - Takes ownership of and completes administrative assignments, including submissions of requests and compiling of documentation - Participates in regular team meetings and occasional after-hours conference calls This company is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, gender, disability or protected veteran status.
