https://Position Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all assigned Grid production equipment. Position is primarily for product packaging on various production lines. * Accountabilities:* 1. Responsible for following all applicable safety rules. 2. Responsible for packaging of finished products on various production lines throughout the operation. 3. Responsible for assisting production operators with various housekeeping activities. 4. Responsible for assisting production operators with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: 1. Must be 18 or older. 2. Must be able to work an 8 hour shift for 5 days per week, as well as be available for overtime. 3. Must be enrolled to attend school in the fall of 2018 (College, Trade School). 4. Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner / follow plant safety rules and practices. 5. Maintain a high standard for housekeeping within the work area. 6. Recognize measurements that are outside of a specified range. 7. Read measuring devices - standard tape measure down to 1/32" and a micrometer down to 0.001". 8. Read and complete documented inspection procedures. 9. Ability to learn to operate plant equipment. 10. Familiar with common hand tools and how to properly use them (hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.). 11. Good communication skills needed with all co-workers. 12. Recognize unsafe conditions or hazards within work area. 13. Demonstrates the ability to cooperate with co-workers in areas of safety, quality, and production/maintenance, and understands importance of completing assigned tasks and their relationship to other requirements. 14. Able to learn procedures and retain information for continuous use.
