Potomac Healthcare Solutions Regional Operations Director in Woodbridge, Virginia

*Regional Operations Director *Corporate - Remote

Position Duties and Responsibilities:**

  • The Regional Operations Director must reside in the Portsmouth, VA area.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations for NMC Portsmouth, Langley AFB and Ft. Eustis, VA.
  • Overseeing the direction, motivation, and development of staff to align with and promote the companys mission, vision, values, and brand.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of new business and referral opportunities.
  • Developing and fostering relationships and referral sources to achieve and maintain the highest census levels possible.
  • Acts as liaison between contract client and corporate offices.
  • Collaborates with client to meet the goals of the contract/task order.
  • Anticipates operational/contractual issues and deals with potential issues proactively.
  • Overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic plan and program goals of contracts/task orders.
  • Creation (as appropriate), implementation and oversight of all healthcare policy and procedures to ensure best in class patient care.
  • Financial reporting and oversight for assigned contracts/task orders.
  • Ensuring effective operations in planning and overall day-to-day operations/program development.
  • Performs regular site visits to observe staff and performance of assigned contracts/task orders and sites. Regularly reviews site performance with site leadership and facilitates development of performance improvement plans, implementation of corrective actions and monitors sites progress. Evaluates effectiveness of performance improvement plan and collaborates with site leadership to revise plan as needed.
  • Directs, monitors, and proactively participates in recruitment strategy implementation in and across assigned contracts and sites, to include interviewing candidates and filling open positions.

*Minimum Qualifications: *

Minimum of 5-7 years of healthcare operations and management experience.

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
