Summary of Role:

We are searching for a Senior Manager / Deputy Director - Post Fab Materials Management to join the Material Management Team in Global Supply Chain (GSC). This individual will be responsible for leading a global team tasked with monitoring key supply chain parameters to enable GlobalFoundries manufacturing execution within our Post Fab team and OSAT partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

You will be responsible but not limited for the following tasks:

  • Responsible for managing a team that activities related to controlling, scheduling, and managing the flow of materials from Post Fab process & OSAT partners to distribution of finished product.

  • Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and responsible for managing outside supplier execution and on-time delivery.Conducts and/or oversees strategic supply chain analysis.

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

  • Demonstrate the ability to develop, implement, and improve business processes that will directly impact GFs ability to manufacture to our customer’s needs.

  • Direct interaction & regular reporting to GF Executive leadership on key deliverables and goals.

  • Monitor and report on variances between forecasted vs actual consumption. Root cause analysis on various causes, while leveraging stakeholders to mitigate shortage/excess issues.

  • Provide team direction on daily activities and manage team priorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree preferred.

  • 10+ Years of Material Management experience preferably handling direct materials in a production environment.

  • 5+ Years of direct people leadership & management experience

  • Direct expertise of Semiconductor back end process, packing, assembly & test, and OSAT companies.

  • Excellent writing, editing, oral communications, communications planning, issues, and project management skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholders.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to perform in an extremely fast paced environment.

  • Travel - Up to 15%

  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.

  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity.

  • SAP & Oracle ERP experience

  • Strong knowledge of planning and purchasing systems.

  • Strong understanding of concepts of inventory management and distribution planning

  • Ability to develop and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquires on inventory and availability.

  • Good problem solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with problems varying in complexity.
